Winemaking and Ageing:

maturation for several months in barrique, then for a long period in large oak barrels, followed by a final refinement in the bottle

Wine and pairings:

jam, sour cherries and blood orange, followed by a delicate hint of aromatic herbs and liquorice. The first sip highlights the wine’s robustness, with lingering elegance and a wonderful clean flavour. Very versatile when paired with traditional Friulian first courses, red meats and medium to mature cheeses.
